By accessing or using Dami, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
Dami is a property listing and information platform. It operates in Kenya and is opening in other countries; where a country is not open yet, features there may be limited. We provide property listings, listing checks, rent-payment tools, a purchase tracker and related real estate information. Dami does not hold purchase money and does not give legal advice.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Accounts are role-based (buyer, seller, landlord, tenant, agent, admin). One person may hold one account; use roles on that account rather than opening more.
Sellers and agents are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Where Dami shows a check (for example an agent's registration or an uploaded land search), it shows the date of the check. A check is a snapshot, not a guarantee. Always conduct independent due diligence.
Checks shown on Dami are advisory snapshots, not legal advice and not a guarantee of title. We recommend consulting an advocate and obtaining your own official land search for every property transaction.
Dami does not receive, hold or release money for property purchases. Pay deposits and balances only into the seller's advocate's client account and keep every receipt. The purchase tracker is a record-keeping tool only.
Rent payments are processed via M-Pesa. All amounts are in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
You may not post fraudulent listings, impersonate others, misrepresent a verification or check, harass other users, or use the platform for any illegal purpose. Violations may result in account suspension. If an account is suspended, you may not open or use another account to get around it. To prevent this, Dami keeps a scrambled (one-way hashed) record of the email, phone number and payout accounts of suspended accounts, even after the account is deleted, and refuses new accounts and payout details that match it. If you think a suspension or block is a mistake, email hello@damiproperties.com to appeal. A person, not a program, reviews every appeal and replies within 5 working days, and a suspension that was wrong is lifted together with its blocks.
Dami provides a platform connecting buyers, sellers, agents, landlords, and tenants. We are not party to any transaction and are not liable for disputes between users. Our total liability is limited to fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in Kenyan courts.
